postpartum must have in amazon

A Postpartum Must-Have in Amazon

After giving birth with my second child I feel confident now and I think I knew a lot what to do. From breastfeeding, swaddling to changing diapers I became more expert. Although this is the first time I gave birth in a different country I can say that I experienced above and beyond to the hospital that I gave birth to.

We didn’t buy much as a second-time mom, aside from diapers and wipes. I signed up to Amazon baby registry this time to get the freebies if you signed up to them. When you complete the baby registry, you get 15% discount as a prime member.

After coming home from the hospital with the new baby and a toddler I was anxious about the changes this new chapter will bring. The transition from the hospital to home was stressful, so it’s important to be prepared with a plan in order to make this shift as smooth as possible. Having said that there are things that a must haves in Amazon for postpartum.

  1. Radiant Rest Collagen + Enzyme Beauty Boost

One of the toughest parts of having a new baby in your home is the lack of sleep that new parents experience. I love sleeping when I was single but now that I have 2 kids my body get used to waking up in the middle of the night. My first baby was a good sleeper with this new one she is more awake. I really like this radiant rest product it has collagen for skin elasticity, probiotics, antioxidants and has less melatonin.

It put me to sleep after 20-45 minutes of use. I used to have a difficulty in going back to sleep when I wake up for the nightly feedings but with this one, works like wonder! When I wake up the next morning, I am well rested. That night, I literally enjoyed a beautiful rest. Plus if you’re nursing, there are probiotics that can help your baby’s intestines and aid with colicky babies like mine.

This is particularly beneficial also for people who work graveyard shifts and have trouble sleeping during the day. You’ll feel rested and ready to take on the world again when you wake up.

2. Massager

Your arms are in heaven when you have this on them. The kneading and heat combined together makes it a great massager for your sore back and arms. It is great for neck and shoulder too. It is small and portable so you can take it anywhere you want and there are different settings to choose from.

3. Robut Vacuum

The baby wants to be held most of the time. You don’t have time to clean your house. This robot vacuum will do the cleaning for you. You will be able to focus on the things that are important. You will have a clean house, and you will have time to spend with your baby.
It comes with sensors that allow it to navigate through your home. This vacuum cleaner is designed to clean your floors, and it has a lift-up brush that will lift up all the dust and allergens. It has a tank that can switch to mop for you and it is very convenient especially you have a new baby and a toddler. Seemed like you have a little helper at home.

4. Hakaa Silicone Pump

This small silicone works like wonder. The fact that you can simply attach it to your breast and it will pull the milk out – hands-free and without the need for actual pumping – had me really excited about this product.
I have had the original hakaa on my first baby. This are excellent to collect letdown while breastfeeding on the other side it helped also with mastitis problem. For this second baby I tried the lady bug version this time you can just attach it on your breast without kicking your baby. You can also do your activity like walking, cooking or even cleaning. Because there is less suction, the quantity is not as great as with a standard Haaka pump, but for my extremely active/kicky baby, this is a better means of collecting letdown milk to build up a stash.

5. Lactation Massager for Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding can be painful at the beginning. It is normal for your breasts to feel sore for a few days after you give birth. If your breasts feel larger, heavier, or more sensitive, it could be a sign that they are starting to metastasized.

You can take ibuprofen or another pain reliever to help with the soreness. Use your breast pump to express it. Before you do massage it by using this lactation massager. The benefit of this is to relieve clogged and mastitis, improved your milk flow, easier latching and faster letdown. This is a life saver!

  1. Sound machine

My always to go to is this wonder small sound machine. It is very easy to put the baby to sleep fast within 5-10 minutes of exposure to the sound. The machine will mimic the sound of the mother’s womb. It will makes the baby relax as soon as the baby hears it. It also works for parents too!

7. Bouncing Ball

This bouncing ball of mine from my pregnancy has a lot of uses. It will soothe the baby if she’s too fussy. You just need to sit and bounce while holding her. It will also give your back and core muscles to workout. My toddler used it also to entertain her.

8. Nursing Tops

I strongly recommend this top to breastfeeding mothers. In the cold, I wore it as an undershirt. This outfit makes it very easy to nurse the infant.

9. Hip sitter carrier

I used it with my first child as well and a must-have.This helped me a lot in my shoulders and back because I have an infant who wants to be held all the time. You can utilize them as they grow older and bigger that won’t hurt your back. This makes you closer to the baby and It is not complicated to use unlike the traditional carrier.

10. Phone sanitizer

If you are an OCD parent this device is for you. This phone sanitizer will keep the phone germ-free, so the parent won’t have to worry about their baby getting sick. And this will keep the baby happy and smiling!

I hope you found something in this post. There are a lot of resources available to new moms that can help them feel empowered and in control of the journey ahead. Stay focused on the fact that you’re doing something amazing mama’s!
